Yeah you're spot on - it's just a shame that the injury that lost him his pace happened in his debut in a previous season friendly so we never actually saw him play for us when he was any good!

Oh, and Allen McKnightmare.

Signed as Celtic and Northern Ireland's number one, and all the hype that went with it. He had a couple of okay ish games but then turned to utter toilet.

Certainly Carlton Cole. I was gutted when we brought him back, though I remember him fondly for some reason now.

McAvennie is a hero of mine, but his druggy seasons were pretty shit.

I never thought much of Nolan except for his knack for scoring.

We also had a habit of taking on players who were past their best already.

We didn't keep most for too long we just couldn't get rid of most of the cunts. We have that problem now £6m ain't a fortune but with his wages who the fuck is going to buy that fucking left back off us

Repka was ok when he was pushed to right back. Boa Morte was woeful all the way through. One of the most consistently bad players I've seen play for us, which is saying something.
